Ember Coast
A family ski residence with mountain views in the Vail Valley

For families

Room for everyone, gentle terrain for the kids.

Separate bedrooms, ski valets, and the gentlest learning terrain in Colorado for first-time skiers.

Design This Trip

Base the family in a multi-bedroom residence at the Four Seasons or a Cordillera home, where ski valets handle the gear and a private chef can cover the nights nobody wants to cook.

Days flow between Beaver Creek's famously gentle learning terrain, the resort's afternoon cookies, and Epic Discovery's alpine coaster and ropes courses when the kids want a thrill.

One big day out, together.

A naturalist from Walking Mountains can take everyone snowshoeing, and an afternoon of guided rafting with Timberline Tours gives the teenagers a story to retell all year. With kids' ski school and big shared kitchens, the logistics fade and the family time takes over.

In summer the same residence becomes a warm-weather base: full days at Epic Discovery on Vail Mountain with the alpine coaster, ropes courses, and gondola-served tubing, a relaxed family round at Beaver Creek Golf Club, and easy Royal Elk Trail walks to Beaver Lake when everyone wants a slower morning.
